Dear Readers,

To all our moms...

Who checked in the closet for monsters, and read us to sleep every night, including an extra story when we just couldn't sleep, who kissed our boo-boos and parted our hair, who wiped our noses and every other place that needed wiping, who made us eat our vegetables and looked the other way when we tried to feed them to the dog, who made us understand that the little b faced the other way from the little d, who taught us to tie our shoes and ride our bikes, who solemnly attended every goldfish funeral, who rode shotgun while we practiced our driving skills but never let the white knuckles show, who showed us how to balance a check-book, who worried when we went out, and stayed up late when we didn't come home on time, who were right there when we didn't know what we were doing, and cheered for us when we did. To all our moms:

Happy Mother's Day!!

p.s. If you're looking for something fun to do with Mom today, come on over to the Musical Sunday concert this afternoon, 1:30-3 p.m. It's right for any budget, from your allowance money on up, because it's free!
